Khao Takiab activities

Watersports
Watersports activities are available for the adventurous, you can jetski, kayak, parasail, banana boat or waterski. A local company runs the activities and hires out the equipment.

Elephant camp
This is situated just before you get to the beach at the end of the first soi on the left after the hill. Elephant rides and feeding can be done here.

The beach at Khao Takiab is far better for beach games, it is wider and flatter than the beach in Hua Hin. Locals often come to the beach in the late afternoons to play football or takraw. Take a boat trip from Khao Takiab to Koh Singto (Lion Island).

Expats also gather on the beach on occasion to compete in bizarre local games such as this Finnish game involving hurling a solid wooden cylinder at others in the sand in an effort to score points.

Fitness and Martial Arts
A local Kung Fu camp offers natural fitness and martial arts training for all levels and ages. A lot of the training is carried out on the beach or in the local temple grounds. More information can be found on their website: Wing Tsun Thailand
